There's no more Skadi prints left! Thanks so much to everyone who bought one! There won't be any reprints for this poster. However, these sold better than I had originally expected, so there may be more Skadi prints in the future...but this was the last one featuring half naked Amazons!
I posted these a while ago, but I'll show them again...here's what's currently for sale (no limited editions this time):
This one is 11 x 14, which is nice and big, but not so big that I'll have to use a tube to ship it. For the most part the Skadi posters (in tubes) shipped ok, but a few got sent back cause the tubes would lose their tops and such, even though I taped the crap out of them. Anyhow, this one is sort of strange for a print, as it's a collection of super rough post-it drawings, but it's my favorite so I hope people will like it. Oh yeah, the girls are a mix of France Galls, Francoise Hardys, and Sylvie Vartans.
This one is 8.5 x 11. Four girls sit thinking deep thoughts.
This one is 8.5 x 11 as well. The image is flush all the way to the edges of the paper, with no white outline, as are the other ones.
This one is 8 x 10, which is a cute and smaller size. I used a pretty vintage dress pattern for the background.
Also, you can get all 4 for 10 dollars less than what it would be if you got them separately. That means 30 bucks instead of 40 bucks!
All the prints are on nice and sturdy matte cardstock. Each one comes signed and dated, with an original thank you doodle included.
Things are good right now. There is change in the air, and exciting things are happening (well, they're exciting for me anyway). I'm hoping I can get some nice drawings done soon to post up here, as well as some updates for the new projects I'm starting.
The lovely and talented Emmy (whom I drew in the previous post) is providing this week's Skadi comic. It's going up tonight at midnight, so please check it out! Her drawings are funny and beautiful and I'm a huge fan!

Lately I'm tired of my own drawings. Drawing is still fun, but I'm ready for some change. I've been kind of trying to break out of my normal drawing habits, but it's not easy.
I like doodling with pens that are super fine right now. I skip over attempting any sort of construction or planning and just draw straight ahead. The drawings come out wonky and maybe a bit cold, like the two above, but I like them.
Those two aren't anything new at all, just my same stuff as usual. I think they're kind of cute though.
Some more extra tiny Luna Lovegood doodles! She's so cute.Ok!! So here is the exciting stuff! I just reread Chris Blain's "Gus and his Gang", and I want to share it with anyone who hasn't seen it yet. These drawings are so beautiful.

It's probably obvious, but the comic is about cowboy outlaws and their various adventures with crime and women.
Soooo good. I wish so bad I could draw this cool.
I like to hope that eventually I'll start picking up some influence from these comics. I don't like trying to force myself into other drawing styles that I'm not that familiar with though. I mean, it's one thing to push yourself in a new direction and try new things, but trying too hard to purposefully emulate another artist never feels right to me (unless it's just for practice or studying or something). Looking at these, I'm both really excited by the drawings, but also defeated feeling.Maybe later on I'll post some more about cool comics I like right now, if people like these. There's a lot though.BONUS PINK! I love this design! I wish I made it up, but I didn't. She's from this other amazing comic, which I'm pretty sure is called "Tete Noire." Go buy it, and get "Gus and His Gang" too! And all the other stuff by those artists! :)

I have two little friends at home now- Ricky, and now Baby Luna.
Luna, (aka Squeak, aka the Demon Fox, aka Fartbomb), and her brother Ricky (aka Dragon Face, aka Little Fish, aka BabyCat). I was worried about bringing a new kitten into the house since I know how territorial cats can be, but it only took a couple days for them to accept one another. Luna is super little though, so she has to live in the kitchen when I'm no home to supervise their playing together. Even though kittens are fun, I want her to grow up a little bigger soon so she can play with Ricky a little more!
What kind of animal is this?? Kitten? Fox? Squirrel? She has a funny look, this one. She's very pretty, but sometimes she looks like other animals. Ricky has the same trait- sometimes he looks like a werewolf, sometimes a bat...right now he looks like a seal pup.I decided to name her Luna after a fictional character that I really like, although there are other reasons "Luna" is a good name for her...it's a pretty name, there's the cute kitty from Sailor Moon named Luna, and also, her little grey crescent shaped head looks like the moon. But here is the Luna she's named after:
I hope there's pudding...
She has a really wonderful dreamy personality. Her sort of weird but pleasant nature reminds me of my own Luna, who is curled up on my desk as I write this. In a little while she'll wake up and make some tribble noises until I pat her between her too far apart ears.
These are the first Luna sketches...her face is really hard to capture! Has anyone else out there tried to draw her? 
I love at the end of the 5th movie when she gets all beat up. She's so pale though...the blood looks creepy! I didn't really get this look right either. Sometimes I have to do like 50 drawings before I can sort of figure out how to draw someone.
Some more weird kitty doodles. I gotta practice drawing animals more.
