Even more foodles

I was surprised and happy that people seemed to like my last post with untidy doodles, so here are some more! Drawing is starting to become fun again.

These ones are influenced by the illustrations in Japanese fashion magazines:
It must be a fun job doing that kind of thing. The magazines I was looking at have so many different artists and styles, they don't stick to one look.

(P.S. Sorry Sean, I stole your fabric pattern that you came up with for Through The Port Hole! Forgive me.)

I really like these hillbillly drawings a lot, even though a lot of people might see them as too scribbly.
Some day when I start seriously on doing my hillbilly cartoon, I'd like it to be more loose and retarded like these drawings. They should all be cute but inbred, right?? I think so!
Maybe I'm weird but I find the occasional wall-eyed person to be very beautiful!

Here is a drawing of a girl I am myspace friends with, her name is Brie:
This girl is very cute and takes a lot of funny photos, so she's fun to draw. Her friends are cute too! This next one is not flattering, both girls are much prettier than my doodle.
Brie is also a fantastic artist, her drawings are loaded with personality and specific ideas and funny stuff. When I was her age I was doing boring anime copies, nothing so original! Go look at her gallery, you won't be disapointed. She did some hilarious Flapjack drawings!

Ok more brainless doodles:
That's it! By the way I want say thanks to the people who are still coming to my blog, it's been up a while now and I'm still posting the same kinds of things, so it's nice to know there are people who will stick around.

Also, I'm going on a mini vacation to see a highschool pal get hitched, I might not be around to moderate my comments too often!

More foodles and crap

Tonight I'm posting crappy doodles that are done while eating (foodles), talking on the phone, watching TV, etc. In other words, drawings that are completely retarded and done while not thinking about drawing.

This was the paper covering protecting my burrito leftovers from when I was at Don Barfo's getting food with pals. Christine gets to be on there (upside down) because she is the only person who knows how "Don Barfo's" got it's name. Little Ricky loves beans! I spelled "burrito" wrong. >__<;

Here is me trying to draw like a normal person

Hillbilly ladies (with opossum)

Hilly billy babies

Mermaids with seabeast

My favorite drawing I've ever done is on this page! Guess which one it is! I will tell you...it's this one:

Here's some pink, complete with notes from Ikea.

I can make red too

Little Ricky!!!!! My darling cat-face!

An important date

Same ol', same ol'

I like these

I'll end with some rare social commentary and ranting. You know what I really hate?? When big corporations try to trick you into thinking they are your friends and neighbors by adopting stupid little nicknames. It doesn't work!!! Not on me! You can't fool me! Here are some names that sound trustworthy and legit (United Airlines, National Geographic, Washington Mutual), and their retarded "no we are nice guys just like you, we promise" names. Boooooooooooooo!

Here, have some HATE

The end!

Trying some weird stuff

I haven't been drawing for myself lately, so today I took some older drawings and messed around with them.

I dug up my super old collection of screen-tone and used it on this marker drawing, then messed around with it in Photoshop.

I like this drawing...it was inspired by an idea Rex had, so I hope he doesn't mind me posting it here. The ugly BG was my own bad idea. This one has screen-tone too. That stuff is fun to play with!

Speaking of experiments, I decided to chop off all my hair! It's shorter than I've ever had it. I know guys like long hair (sorry Dad), but this is way easier to deal with!

Sorry about the blurriness, I took these myself so they suck. I'll post better ones later maybe.
OH! Here's before:

I can't pull off this kind of look!

Also!!! For Autumn/Halloween fans, there is an entire month of Halloween themed Skadi comics over at dummcomics. And there are 5 Wednesdays this month! Yee-Haw! The first one went up today, so please check it out.
